TRIUMPH Network Plus Fund Projects

The TRIUMPH Network Funding call closed in July 2020. We received 34 applications  covering a range of important topics for young people’s mental health across the TRIUMPH Network research themes. Our team of reviewers have been busy over the summer with the difficult task of selecting which of the many excellent research ideas to award funding to.

We are delighted to announce that grants have been awarded to support the following research projects that will start from October 2020:

Co-production or adaptation of online interventions for foster care: Promoting the mental health and wellbeing of care-experienced children and young people

Led by Dr Rhiannon Evans from Cardiff University in collaboration with The Fostering Network and CASCADE Voices

Optimising school staff training to support LGBTQ+ young persons

Led by Dr Charlotte Woodhead from King’s College London in collaboration with Exposure Organisation, Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons Trust and Jack Drum Arts

Reprezent’s On the Level – Covid-19 mental health programme in schools

Led by Dr Liat Levita from the University of Sheffield in collaboration with University College London and Reprezent Youth Radio Station

CESAME: Culturally Engaged and Sensitive Approaches to Mental health Education

Led by Sneha Raman from The Glasgow School of Art, in collaboration with Leaders Unlocked, De Montfort University and the Centre for Mental Health
